Vintage 1970s Black Velvet 3 Piece Suit

Killer 1970s vintage 3 piece black velvet suit. Made from a slinky lightweight cotton velvet & featuring a wide lapel blazer, velvet front & back waistcoat and a pair of high waisted wide leg flares. I love the panther-esque shine of the velvet used and the clever form flattering pattern cutting. An absolute wardrobe staple & timeless design- can be styled up or down in so many ways.

Note: There is plenty of spare black velvet fabric sewn in panels of the blazer & waistcoat, meaning the trouser waistband /waistcoat could easily be made a little larger by a tailor if needed!
