Vintage 1970s rayon crepe maxi skirt by iconic London designer Jean Muir. Muir was renowned for her innovative liquid rayon crepe which is soft, lightweight and hangs so beautifully on wear. Black with a fabulous shooting star design in golden yellow all over, with matching double stitch. Cut with a high waistband, clever pleating to create movement and a button & zipper closure. An incredibly flattering skirt in such a great print. A rare and collectible piece of fashion history.
