RARE Vintage 1970s Marc Bolan T. Rex Glam Rock Flares

Fabulous vintage 1970s flares from the archives of the T. Rex & Marc Bolan fan club director and super fan. Vibrant green flared slacks cusom sequinned with 'MARC BOLAN' down the length of each leg. These pieces were hand customised and originally worn to conventions, discos and fan meet ups in the 1970s. One of a kind, incredibly special glam rock collector's piece!!

The trousers are made from an apple green twill, by 'Michael Barrie for Strides of London'. They are cut with a high and wide waistband, deep side pockets, wide leg flare and feature knife edge pleating. The sequinning is silver and navy blue.

Inside leg:27.5" (There is an extra 5" inside, which could be let out by a tailor, who would need to reattach the bottom lettering).

Note: the customisations were done imperfectly- the thread can be seen on the underside, there are imperfections in the lettering size (personally LOVE this!). This does not detract- I love to see the history!
